The Yamaha YTR-9610 tunable-bell Eb/D trumpet is on the smaller side, with a lighter sound and more resistance than its bigger cousin the YTR-9636. Modeled on the Schilke E3L, the 9610 shines on playful passages in pieces like the Haydn and Hummel. It comes with a Yamaha 14B4 mouthpiece (somewhere between a Bach 3C and 3D), and a traditional-style hard case to hold the body, two bells, and extra 1st and 3rd slides for changing from Eb to D. Please note this is an open-box model; it has been on display but is still in new condition and comes with all original accessories and packaging.

The YTR-9610 is a custom-made Eb/D trumpet that has proper resistance and accurate intonation for performers to play a full variety of musical genres from solo or chamber music to full orchestral compositions. The trumpet’s lightweight design provides an attractive combination of agile response and pleasant playing. Switching between the keys of Eb and D involves exchanging the bell and the first and third valve slides.
