Used Jet-Tone Studio B aluminum tenor trombone mouthpiece in fair condition. Rim has some wear around the outer edge and a few nicks. Shank has pliers marks and is somewhat chewed up at the end, but this is still a very playable mouthpiece, not to mention collectible. Original vintage, from the collection of legendary studio trombonist Wayne Andre (Bruce Springsteen, Gloria Gaynor, Grover Washington Jr. and many more).

ABOUT WAYNE ANDRE:
Born in 1931, Andre started playing trombone in his early teens. His professional career began in the early ’50s when he started performing with bandleader Charlie Spivak. After he got out of the service he joined up with Woody Herman’s big band, and since then the Manhattan School of Music graduate has appeared on the records of literally hundreds of different artists from all genres. His eclectic assortment of credits include everyone from Bruce Springsteen, Steely Dan, Ricky Martin, Gloria Gaynor, Donny Hathaway, Alice Cooper and Liza Minelli to Sarah Vaughan, Kai Winding, Lena Horne, Wes Montgomery, Bill Evans, Chick Corea, Grover Washington Jr., George Benson, Manny Albam, Roy Ayers and Benny Goodman.
