Used Patrick FR81M trumpet mouthpiece top in excellent condition. Rim/cup has extremely light signs of use. Threads are compatible with Patrick, Warburton, Greg Black, Pickett, and more. "FR" designation is for "flat rim", and it is indeed flat and very comfortable.

The 81M is comparable to a Bach 5 inner diameter. This mouthpiece has a medium V cup design. A fat, slightly rounded rim with the high point pretty close to the center of the rim. (Ever so slightly toward the inside the of the rim.) This mouthpiece has more resistance than the old Jet-tones providing more endurance, better projection and an easier high end. The sound is full and resonant from the very bottom of the range to the top.
The FR rim profile has become widely popular on our commercial models. This profile is fairly flat with a comfortable cushion rim with a high point between the middle and inner edge to provide support so that you don’t have that “falling into the cup” feeling.
