We gave this century-plus-old horn a professional cleaning, fresh valve job, and precision valve alignment. There's some minor plating loss on the rim and bell flare, small spots of missing plating, and patches on the leadpipe and second valve slide (which has some minor cosmetic imperfections), as well as evidence of repair on the first slide and tail. The third slide stop nut is also missing, and the ripples on the bell throat are original spin marks from manufacturing. All that said, none of it affects playability, and there's lots of life left in this trumpet! It has a vibrant, flexible sound that’s remarkably easy to color, making it a joy to play for expressive work. Compression and valve action are like new thanks to the valve job, and despite its age, it’s a truly capable player. No case.
