Used 1936 Olds Military Model in very good condition. This very collectible historical brass instrument has a hand-hammered (with a ball-peen hammer) bell that is very visually striking. The original lacquer is 90% intact and has a gorgeous honey color to it. The rest of the horn is original as well except for the leadpipe, which was made by repair legend Chuck McAlexander. We gave this trumpet a cleaning and did some minor dent work, as well as a precision valve alignment. It plays very well, with a full sound despite the tiny bell, and it offers great projection and valve action. Compression is surprisingly good given the horn's age, indicating it was well maintained and not played extensively. Comes with original case.
