The Chuck Findley model is a lighter-weight version of the B1 and has a Bach 43-style bell flare, as well as Chuck's signature engraved on the receiver. This is one of the finest-playing horns in the Van Laar lineup, with a ton of presence, core, and vibrancy, reminiscent of the classic Calicchio 1S2 sound. Excellent choice for show work, commercial playing, and big band situations, though we'd be hard-pressed to find a playing environment you couldn't use this horn in when paired with the right mouthpiece for the job. This particular horn has a single main tuning slide brace and a short valve block to help keep weight minimal. No case.
FROM VAN LAAR:
“My signature model Van Laar trumpet has the perfect resistance I need to play in a big band, but also has the warmth needed for a small group or soloing on a film call.”
